Maxel Oceanic 2-speed Big Game reels are crafted of premium aluminum and precision machined for great strength, tight tolerance and light weight. The powerful and super smooth carbon fiber drag systems assure excellent control from hook up to boat side. OC 12 and OC 20 models have a large single disk carbon drag, and the OC 30W and OC 50W models feature a dual carbon drags for even greater control. The series series features super strong, cold forged aluminum alloy spools and side plates as well as heat treated, heavy duty, precisely machined stainless steel gear sets. The spools are designed to stand up to either premium monofilament or braided line with plenty of capacity. Nine shielded, precision stainless steel ball bearings resist corrosion and deliver smooth, free operation. The reel is heavily anodized to resist corrosion and keep looking great for season after season. The lineup covers 4 sizes through 12, 20, 30W and 50W.
