The Sealion limited jigging rod series is a perfect compliment to the ultimate line up of Sealion lever drag jigging reels. With the lightweight and unmatched lifting power ,it pushes the limit of jigging as anglers aim to land bigger and stronger fish with the lightest possible tackle. Our design concept is innovative and very different than the conventional rod design. The conventional jigging rod gives the priority to ensure an easy lure vibration, however when fighting large fish, the angler may probably become fatigued and too hard to control the fighting process. The user-friendly design on Maxel jigging rod intends to make up the weakness of the middle blank in 6/4 action on the conventional jigging rod. It also has greatly reduced the pressure exert on anglers regardless that you put the rod on the fighting belt or hold it under your arm. With our years experience of worldwide fishing expedition, we discovered that the fish become more alert on the big heavy lure after repeated fighting pressure. However, the ordinary jigging rods usually can not effectively transfer the action with light lures, this has greatly reduced the fish bite. To jig the light lure requires a different skill, you need to cast the lure out of the boat then jig it back in order to attract more fish around your boat ; for the heavy lure you just need to position the lure into the deep water then jig it up.
