However, the ordinary jigging rods usually can not effectively transfer the action with light lures, this has greatly reduced the fish bite. To jig the light lure requires a different skill, you need to cast the lure out of the boat then jig it back in order to attract more fish around your boat ; for the heavy lure you just need to position the lure into the deep water then jig it up. When light jigging ,the rod tip must be ultra soft with excellent sensitivity to enable the lure jigging back gradually with excellent swimming action .
